S.D.O.C. LTD is using open source software and contributes to its development by distributing software, writing guides, translating software to different languages and more.

Some of the software we use are:

The Ubuntu Linux Desktop Oriented Linux Distribution (a linux distribution tailored for desktop use).
The Apache Web Server.
The PHP Scripting Language.
The MySQL Database Management System.
The Joomla! Content Management System.
The Drupal Content Management System.
The Moodle Course Management System (for educational and pedagogical purpose).
The Wiki - Open Source Information and Articles Sharing (among organization and communities).
The Mantisbt Bug Tracker System (for development of software).
The LinuxMCE - "complete whole-house media solution with pvr + distributed media, and the most advanced smarthome solution available" (from LinuxMCE site).
The Mozilla Firefox Internet Browser.

We offer support and implementation for these products, starting with planning and designing, through building and maintenance.

We contribute 2% of our profits to open source organizations and open source software development.
